The General English program develops your English language and communication skills, giving you the confidence and ability to function in everyday situations. Through a communicative approach, you will practice your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. There are also many opportunities to learn these skills in a variety of ‘real-life’ situations. You will also be able to improve your pronunciation and develop your grammar and vocabulary range.
English Path offers six levels of General English from Beginner to Advanced. Our Beginner level class accepts students with very little exposure to English. Lower level students may also choose to increase their progress by taking additional 1-1 classes. In contrast, our Advanced General English class is for students with high level communicative skills. Some students may consider an 'Intensive 40' course or a 'Semi intensive 25' course to accelerate their learning or go on to study an examination preparation course. For those students who would like more time to explore the city in which they’re studying, we recommend the 'Classic 20' or 'Semi-intensive 25' course.
LTQ quotes the 'Semi Intensive' program as Intensive although it delivers less than 20 hours tuition/week. The 40 lesson program is quoted as Super Intensive.
PLEASE NOTE course materials are not included in the quotations. The cost depends on the length of course booked. The cost can be paid in advance to LTQ or at the school.
The English Path School in Dubai is based in Dubai Knowledge Park. In the same park there are leading universities and other training companies. The area has pleasant outdoor seating areas, cafes and a popular food hall offering good value dishes. Bus routes, the metro and tram provide good connections to the location.
