The General English course helps students build on their knowledge and command of English and develops their specific abilities in the key language skills of vocabulary extension, grammar, reading, writing, listening and speaking. In addition to using course books, teachers engage their students via a variety of authentic, interesting and topical materials and activities. Our teachers encourage maximum participation in conversational and practical writing activities to motivate and enthuse students. General English is offered at all levels (A1–C2: Beginner to Advanced). General English offers flexible content where group needs are fully addressed, be they for personal, work-related, domestic or other goals.
Our Standard course of 20 lessons/week delivers 15 hours/week tuition. The Intensive course of 30 lessons delivers 22.5 hours of learning each week whilst the Super Intensive Program of 40 lessons provides 30 hours of tuition each week.

EEC offers both homestay accommodation and student residence options. Homestay is available for students 16 years old and above. The residence options are for those over 18. All homestay is based upon accommodation in a private room. Breakfast & Dinner is provided by the host family. Special dietary requirements will incur a weekly supplement. Residences provide either a private room or studio with a private bathroom. Residence prices are on a self catering basis
